Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall is located beside the Tiananmen Square. Its exhibits lack English tags but the dioramas still show the evolution of the city. There is a detailed bronze map of the town in 1949, the same year that sealed the fate of old Peking. Visitors will also find a miniature model of the entire Beijing area in wonderful detail. Because of the lack of English labelling however, only a few tourists choose to go here, but it is still worth a look if you are visiting the metropolis.
