Dongan Men Remains

The Dongan Men was the once magnificent east gate into the Imperial City, now all that remains is a small stump where it once stod proud. The road that tourists will be able to see that lies between the two layers of bricks is the old road during the Ming Dynasty that ran near the Dongan Men. The old road is approximately 2 meters lower than the present road and is precisely made by Ming Dynasty brick workers. The Dongan Men Remains is found at the eastern side of the Imperial City.
